Projects: Medcezir

Medcezir is a very special project where thousands of years` cultural heritage of Anatolia meets with modern music. A music that continuously goes back and forth between the old and the new, the simple and the complex, the mechanic and emotional, the relaxed and the excited is presented in this project.

Projects: Katakofti

Amsterdam Klezmer Band and The Galata Gypsy Band meet each other in the music of the Balkans in ‘KATAKOFTI’. The two bands together treat their audience to an unforgettable feast of music.

This Kulsan project presents an encounter between Oriental intense mysticism and the stark reality of Andalusia. The historical associations and mutual influence between Southern-Spanish flamenco and the mystical Eastern Sufi’s are distinctly present in both cultures and make the encounter an unforgettable experience.
