Musical Encounter in Amsterdam
Osvaldo Golijov and Jeff Hamburg are two contemporary composers who are inspired by traditional Jewish music, the former predominantly by religious music and the latter mostly by klezmer music.

A performance of American-Dutch Jeff Hamburg's second string quartet Hashkivenu, a well-known blessing from the Jewish evening prayers (from 2002), and from Argentinean-American Osvaldo Golijov The dreams and prayers of Isaac the Blind for klezmer - clarinet and string quartet (from 1994). The program will be performed by the Chagall quartet together with clarinettist
Emirhan Tuga.
